As a California Certified Massage Therapist and graduate of the California Holistic Institute in San Luis Obispo, I offer customized therapeutic bodywork designed to meet your body’s needs in the moment.

Rather than separating each modality into a different service, I keep the menu simple and integrate the techniques most appropriate for your goals. Sessions may draw from deep tissue, Swedish, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, stretching, cupping, hot stones, sports-based work, and other supportive methods as needed.

My work is intended to support pain relief, mobility, recovery, relaxation, and nervous system regulation through treatment that is both effective and restorative. Each session is shaped with care, precision, and responsiveness to how your body presents that day.

Aside from massaging people I massage horses. My background in equine massage has further refined my sensitivity to subtle physical and energetic cues. Working with horses has strengthened my ability to listen beyond words, recognize patterns of tension and guardedness, and respond with grounded, intuitive care. This awareness informs my work with clients and supports a style of bodywork that is highly attentive, individualized, and deeply therapeutic.

Amy Rhodes, L.M.T., C.L.T.

Amy Rhodes brings a wealth of experience to The Massage Center, blending her background in massage therapy with a trauma-informed approach to healing. Certified in California since 2015, Amy offers a compassionate space where clients feel seen and accepted.

Her services include Swedish, intuitive bodywork, deep tissue (up to 8/10 firmness for practitioner longevity), pregnancy massage, hot stone, CBD topicals, shiatsu, breathwork, manual lymph drainage, compression, chair massage, crystal layouts, and range of motion therapy.

With a Master’s in Counseling Psychology from Troy University (2007) and over 850 hours of bodywork training from East West School of Integrative Healing Arts (2013–2014), Amy transitioned from corrections security and mental health practice to full-time massage therapy. She is also a Certified Lymphedema Therapist (Academy of Lymphatic Studies, 2021) and completed her 200-hour Moksha Yoga Teacher Training in Peru (2024).

Amy is an avid adventurer and traveler who loves culturally immersive experiences, embodying her belief that “the more we know, the more we grow.”
